AU: Rockmelons linked to rare Salmonella outbreak

PMA A-NZ: An uncommon strain of Salmonella has been identified as the cause of a number of cases of foodborne illness in South Australia and New South Wales. The majority of cases reside in the greater Sydney metropolitan area. Investigations by SA Health and the New South Wales Food Authority indicate that the most likely source of the contamination is rockmelons. Other types of melons are not implicated.
